Tell us what you need — we'll pick the right QR type

QR codes do 18 different things. Pick the wrong type and people get a broken link or a wall of raw text instead of what they expected. Describe your use case in one sentence and the right tool opens, ready to fill in.

Frequently asked questions

How does the QR code finder choose a type?expand_more
It reads your one-sentence description and matches it against the 26 supported QR types — Wi-Fi, vCard, PDF, Google review, app store link and so on. The matcher picks the most specific fit (so an App Store URL routes to the appstore type, not the generic url type) and explains in one sentence why.
Do I need to sign up first?expand_more
No. The finder is public and free. You only need an account when you want to save a dynamic QR code that you can edit later, track scans on, or download in high resolution.
What's the difference between a static and a dynamic QR code?expand_more
A static QR code embeds the data directly — fast and free forever, but the content is fixed once printed. A dynamic QR code points to a short URL we control, so you can edit the destination, track scans, and rotate campaigns without reprinting.
Can I change the QR type later?expand_more
Yes. Inside the editor every type is one click away in the sidebar, and your customisations (colours, logo, frame) carry over. The finder is just a shortcut — it's never a lock-in.
Which QR type works for a restaurant menu?expand_more
Use the PDF type if you only have a PDF menu file. Use a landing page if you want categories, photos, dietary filters or daily specials that you can update without re-uploading. Use a URL if you already host the menu on your own website.
